No. PanelLint lays out values you already have and checks the resulting panel for missing fields, overflow and review issues. It does not calculate nutrients, provide legal advice or replace regulatory review.
Which nutrition panel can I build?+
The current MVP builds a focused vertical Nutrition Facts panel with product, serving, nutrient, ingredient and allergen text supplied by you.
Can I control the printed size?+
Yes. PanelLint creates a PDF at the physical width and height you enter, then records those dimensions in the evidence export. Confirm the final size with your printer and reviewer.
What files does PanelLint export?+
It exports a dimensioned PDF, editable SVG copy, evidence JSON, review notes and a SHA-256 manifest without modifying your source project.
Does PanelLint certify FDA compliance?+
No. It is a layout and preflight desk, not a certification service. Human review is deliberately retained before packaging is released.
Does my label data leave my Mac?+
No. Editing, preview, preflight and export run locally in the current Release build, with no account or upload step.
